Wednesday, February 25, McDougle Elementary proudly hosted the “Don’t Break My Heart” Parent & School Collaboration with Yvonne Clarke, Director of Health Services. ❤️

This impactful program brought families together to learn practical ways to care for their hearts and support a healthy lifestyle at home. Open to all Klein Forest feeder schools, families gained valuable information and simple strategies they can begin using right away.

Families learned how to:

Read and understand nutrition labels

Monitor sodium and sugar intake

Make healthier food choices

Incorporate exercise into daily routines

Build active and healthy family habits

Ms. Clark made a powerful impact by reminding us: “By making small changes, it can equal a big impact.”

Thank you to all the families who attended and helped make this event a success. Together we are building healthier families and a stronger community!
